We were in your shoes once: in film school or recently graduated, eager to put our skills to use in the real world. But the job hunt was harder than we expected. Without a reel and little experience to our resume, production houses and film studios wouldn’t offer us any opportunities. We didn’t want to work for free, but we were also willing to work at affordable rates to build our portfolio.
Now that we’re more than a decade into our careers, we look back at those days and want to influence the next generation of filmmakers by helping them find meaningful content creation under the mentorship of seasoned professionals.

You are a student or recent college grad with an interest in filming, editing, script writing, production, post-production specialties (color correction, audio engineering, etc), graphic design, motion design, or animation.

Once you become part out our network of freelancers, we’ll assign tasks to you that match your skill set with the needs of our clients. Every Group Project video is different in scope, but our goal is to provide opportunities for growth and experience under our mentorship.
We will give preference to:
- People from underrepresented backgrounds, including women, people of color, and people with disabilities
- People who communicate with us professionally in their application process
- People who have a record of completing projects on time
- People who can work well with others
- People who can work on location in Denver and/or in our offices in downtown Denver

Use your work...
You’ll be able to use all of your Group Project work in your portfolio. We will also informally offer connections to professional production houses and film production companies, including our sister company Costello Productions.
